Hypnotica

WARNING: This song may cause heart issues in people over 41, so please listen with caution.

The other day, I found myself pondering how humanity has constrained and categorized so much of the free creation that God made. Several years ago, I heard on the radio about a solar flare that registered a “12”—but what does that even mean? Where did this scale come from? How do we know a flare couldn’t be as big as a 20, or even a 90 or higher? A mere 12? Hmm. I’d love to hear the story behind that!

We have imposed rules, scales, laws, and all sorts of man-made units on the universe. I still remember when there were plans to switch all of the U.S. measurement systems to metric. I’m not sure why that never happened.

It amuses me how simple it is for a person to secure their place in heaven—just say “yes” to God’s knocking at your heart’s door. Yet, people tend to overthink this decision; it seems they want proof before taking that step. I can imagine that as people grow older, it becomes increasingly challenging to accept things on faith. They often rely solely on what they can see, prove, or touch.

The truth is, it’s really quite simple, folks: just believe in Him and then say “yes”! Will your life change? Absolutely! But that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll lose everything you hold dear—friends, jobs, cars. However, it might be a good opportunity to reevaluate those things.
